What happens to your file
- Deleted right after transcription. The audio is removed from storage as soon as the text is ready (and in any case within 24 hours).
- Text kept for 24 hours. The result is stored so you can come back to this page and copy it, then it is deleted.
- Not used for training. Your audio and text are never used to train models and are never shared.
- Processed on our own hardware. The transcription runs on a machine we operate - not on third-party cloud AI services. See the Privacy Policy.
How it works

- Pass the quick human check and confirm you have the right to transcribe the file.
- Get text with timestamps; copy it or download as TXT, SRT, or VTT.
Under the hood it is the same transcription engine as the Nerpa Mac app: it handles 25 European languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian. For other languages, results may be inaccurate.

Is this really free?
Yes - 3 files per day, up to 35 minutes each, no account and no payment. The Nerpa Mac app adds unlimited transcription that runs entirely on your Mac.
Do I need an account?
No. Upload a file, get text. That's the whole flow.
What happens to my audio?
It is deleted right after transcription (and in any case within 24 hours). The text result is kept for 24 hours so you can return to this page, then deleted. Nothing is used for training - see the Privacy Policy.
Which formats work?
Audio: MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, OPUS, FLAC, AAC. Video with sound: MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV.
